2010 Steininger Gruner Veltliner, Kamptal, Austria Bt/28
This is an excellent example of typical Austrian Grüner Veltliner: a dry and fresh white wine with influences of green apples and lemon. All this underlined by the spice of white pepper and ripe acidity.
2010 Meinklang, Frizzante, Burgenland, Austria (biodynamic) Bt/28
A 100% sparkling rose offering fresh and bright fruit. An aromatic wine that exhibits its vivacious, sparkling personality. Mouth filling Cremant-like bubbles are lively yet soft, allowing the delicate red berry flavors to shine through to the clean lively finish.
2009 Hillinger, Blaufrankisch, Burgenland, Austria (organic) Bt/30
Beautiful black pepper spices are balanced by deep black berry fruit and soft tannins. The finish is very long and smooth with some of the spice and fruit returning.
2008 Hillinger, Hillside, Burgenland, Austria (organic) Bt/48
(70% Syrah, 20% Zweigelt and 10% Merlot)
This powerful blend is aged for 20 Month in used Barriques (small French oak barrels). The result is a full-bodied red with black pepper up-front, velvet smooth on the pallet and hints of chocolate, rich red berries on the long soft finish.
